Who We Are

Contact for Services Africa (C4S-AFRICA) is a consortium of members from different countries and sectors who evaluate and utilize existing and potential dynamic complementarities in all relevant sectors, and are strongly committed to improving the living conditions of African populations, the development of wealth creation initiatives, the transfer of technology and know-how, the development of innovation, among others. C4S-AFRICA is a platform of services targeted towards communication and sharing of information across Africa, Europe and the rest of the world.

Mission Statement

C4S-AFRICA’s mission is to increase contact services for sustainable infrastructure development in Africa in order to help improve the living conditions and economic well-being of Africans. These services support economic development required by the private sector, which are aimed at increasing employment, incomes, level of skills and the value of human resources.

C4S AFRICA works for the emergence of the African continent, by promoting cooperation aimed at enhancing and accelerating the economic, social and cultural development of Africa, in a spirit of solidarity and mutual interest.

C4S Africa aims to implement viable development projects, designed by its members, including Africans in the diaspora, with the necessary support and participation of international cooperation in a spirit of fair and mutually beneficial partnership (Financial, Economic and Social).

Vision Statement

C4S-AFRICA’s vision is to promote equitable access to wealth and sustainable development opportunities across Africa. We will advocate the importance of services in the formulation of development strategies and the need to step up cooperation to promote and expedite the economic, cultural and social programs in Africa and to consolidate and diversify objectives and priorities in support of the market economy and of the private sector.

Objective

To contribute to the economic, social and cultural development of African countries. In order to achieve this objective, C4S-AFRICA shall:

  • Work for the promotion and development of wealth creation initiatives,
  • Transfer technology and know-how, as well as the development of innovation,
  • Contribute to the implementation of cooperation aiming at promoting and accelerating the development of economic, social and cultural initiatives in Africa through the establishment of partnerships among different actors.

And generally, carry out all commercial, industrial, financial, tangible and intangible property operations that may be directly or indirectly related to any of the company’s purposes and likely to promote its growth and development.

Similarly, using all human, material and financial resources at its disposal, C4S-AFRICA may associate with a view to creating a company or an association having the same purpose as its own.

We are committed to building a better Africa by maintaining core values and achievements for future generations. We place specific importance on environmental protection, and the preservation of natural resources and their rational exploitation such as the extension of agroforestry systems. We work in a synergistic approach, pooling knowledge, resources, development and capacity building actions on the African continent with the goal of improving the living conditions of Africans through employment and adequate incomes, improvement of level skills, suitable extension services, among others.

We value transparent and trusted partnerships as a critical pillar in achieving our vision. The Consortium of members from different countries and sectors focuses on cooperation to achieve comprehensive self-reliant and self-sustained development.

Activities

C4S-AFRICA encourages, supports and promotes increased public and private sector investment in infrastructure in Africa.  We focus on development based on a sustainable balance between our economic objectives, the rational management of the environment and the enhancement of natural and human resources.

Our main target is agricultural cooperation, food security, rural development and agro-industrial development, through the manufacturing and processing of primary products, establishment of industries based on local needs and the distribution of resources focused on domestic and regional markets.

C4S-AFRICA works to facilitate infrastructure development in the water, transport, energy and ICT sectors through regional programs and national initiatives, C4S-AFRICA is a platform that acts as a catalyst for a step change in the contact for services domain projects and programs across the continent.

C4S-AFRICA also works to overcome the challenges of building new infrastructures and contributes to a better understanding of enterprise development needs by communicating and putting in place better information and contacts with the appropriate technology transfers.

C4S-AFRICA again seeks to establish a Project Preparation Facility Network to help address project preparation issues, and a study on best practice and experience in coordinating project co-financing, information sharing and resource mobilization.

C4S-AFRICA, in partnership with some European institutions offers financial structuring plans to help Regional Economic Communities, and other project sponsors access finance for their infrastructure development for Women, Children and the Youth to enhance the value of human resources, scientific and technical transfer.
